Hey everyone,

After a long time looking, I have finally put a deposit on a defender today. Ive been looking at these threads for a long time,:eek: now I feel worthy to post.

2002 Defender td5 xtreme from another member of this site Rovertech Perth looked it over on Saturday and he said it was in perfect condition. Now I've just have to drive it from Perth to Weipa..... Sounds Like a ROAD TRIP.....!!!!!

once you go rover you never good back
starting to biuld up my new disco yer i know its only a d1 but realy need to be geting a house so keep her indoors happy and me think i should post some pics before i start just so you can see what a fusey ***** iam lol:)

Did you hear I paid a deposit on this guys defender today and the mechanic who looked over it said the guy was a little fanatic and it was "better then a new car" :) (Id buy your Disco when your finished it as well LOL (If the wife would let me))

Not sure how you are getting to Perth to pick it up, but over in the general thread isuzurover has a car he wants taken to Perth. Brisbane would hardly be out your way:):angel:

Congratulations. I did the same three weeks ago. Now the waiting - expected late April early May. Meantime I'm truckless (except for the wife's Jimmny).

How long till yours is delivered?

psssh. It was 'her indoors' that encouraged you to get rid of the vehicle you had before the Landy and drove you all the way to Geraldton to buy it. Not to mention you slept the whole way there.
