The little spider in the top photo is probably a male ready to rush in and do the deed. His problem would be to escape after the event and not be eaten.

Good shots Inc, the quality of the optics in that lens is excellent.
Which settings are you using in your camera?
Are you using nef ?
Try to set the camera in manual and adjust shutter speed and aperture to suit the conditions.
You can use ISO 400 without much problems but over that try to adjust the exposure far to the right in the histogram without blow out the highlights.
Seagulls are very good subject to learn to esposure the whites and keep details on the feathers.

put the info for each under them

yes, use nef as i have photoshop and lightroom

but i altered nothing in those pics. just exported to jpg at 80% and resized to 2048

They are coming good Inc.
With the quality of that lens you can make a big crop without loosing much details.
