I got a phone call a couple of months back saying I had won a First Class trip for 2 around the world valued at $200,000!

All I had to do was give him my credit card details to pay for the delivery of the tickets, as this was not included in the price... :D Yep, that extra 50 cents would really have killed the budget...

Do people actually fall for these sort of things?

This one must be real. They did not ask for credit card details or bank acc. details or send them $25 to process your claim.:no2:

Ah isn't life funny, the very next night after i posted this ACA ran a story about people getting scammed:(. I don't really remember for sure but i think they said that about $6.6 million gets scammed out of aussie's every year.
I really did post it so people are aware of yet another scam:twisted: but what amused me was that it was directed at landrover owners. At least it's an original tactic LOL.
Of course it may be real :confused::confused:
