I am looking at buying a P38. Now the only one I have sat in was at a car yard and he wasnt real helpful.
I am 6ft, a big bloke and like have the back rest pretty much straight.
Just wondering how much movement in the steering wheel and seat there are for taller people.
As the one I looked at was a HSE with a sunroof. And my head was rubbing the roof. I am happy to delete the sunroof though.

Also how are theres things going with 250,000km on the clock. Most I have seen are still looking good.

Cool I will keep on looking then. The peanut at the caryard wasnt real helpful when I asked about adjusting the seat and wheel. Actually he seemed to be a real arrogant pig. So want be going back there.

Yere, I'm 6ft and have no problems with head room. In fact the other day I had myself and 4 friends all over 6ft ranging from 80-100kgs each in the car and no one complained about room. There are lots of adjustments on the seat which are fairly self explanatory, and I know the steering wheel has tilt, but I'm not sure about reach. I try not to adjust mine as I was playing with the tilt mechanism at a red light one day and then it wouldn't lock back in. Made for an interesting drive having the steering wheel bounce up and down all the way home.

Cheers,
Keels.

I guess it just depends on your natural seating position and how you are comfy, I have less than an inch between my head and the roof lining, and sometimes bump it, and sometimes sit funny and have a good 3 or 4 inches.

Im just on 6 ft.

Don't forget the electric seats in an HSE can be lowered. Perhaps the one you were in was at maximum height.

My son was 6'4" and never complained of his head hitting the roof in mine.

The steering column is adjustable for reach and tilt.

Yes as Ron says there is seat up/down movement available.

I am 6'4" and i would say i am 1-2 inches off the roof.
I cant say i have ever hit the roof in 10 years of ownership.
With the back of the seat up straight it might be a bit closer though.
