Anyone know any GOOD motorbike forums?
You know - where people are more interested in bikes than they are at swearing and sniping at one another.
I am especialy (but not exclusively) interested in Italian bikes, particularly Guzzis.
Not closing my mind to a (more affordablend hand Jap bike either. But it has to be something that I can fiddle with tomake it stand ut a bit from teh crowd.
Cheers

I find this a good forum in that it covers pretty much everything, despite the name.. Some great pics and ride reports too...

Guzzi Tech is excellent,
Just sold my Guzzi 1200 Sport bike today. Good 2 valve and great to work on. Replaced it with a BMW 1200GSA

ADVrider is probably the best of them, there are some amazing trip reports in the reports section.
There is ADB, Twowheels as well, they are OK for local forums.

I've been kicking around on ADVRider for a few years now. Pretty good bunch of people. The comments about the trip reports are spot on. Well worth perusing there:cool:. I've spent countless hours reading some of them. Some great help and advice available and I haven't had any issues or problems with anyone.

Oooh - nice change. The GSA1200 is one of the nicest bikes to ride (unless you are vertically challenged). Very quick too.
If you want to read a good thread about travelling on a bike, search for the threads by Oisin on ADVRider. He rode from Dublin to the USA via the Madigan Road in Russia and it is an epic read.

For me - I'd say no. I come here 90% to check out the Land Rover items, and 10% to do the 'side issue' stuff like the "Interesting Pictures" thread, Jokes etc, but primarily for the LR content.
If I want bike stuff - I head over to ADVRider.com and UKGSer.com.
That's just me though ;)

I joined up Netrider - there is some good stuff there - some people have interesting projects.
Bloke did a CX500 cafe 'racer' and it owuld now have to be the best looking CX50 in history.
(Well, it's a LOT better than the way it came fromteh factory anyway).

I'm admin on Ridersden.net but it's almost dead. We need new blood, more members.
After 9 years of membership, I left Two Wheels. There's been too much abuse of new members and many haven't stayed because of that.
