After looking at heaps of boats over the last few months I came across this wonderful little gem
Used 1999 STACER 414 Boat For Sale - boatsales.com.au (http://www.boatsales.com.au/boats-for-sale/boatdetails.aspx?R=10219672)
As soon as I saw it I knew it was mine. Its been the previous owners Pride and Joy since brand new and is immaculate. Even scored a little 3.3hp for trolling. Now all I gotta do is catch some fish :)

Nice. Just the sort of thing I am looking for, however I want a tiller control (or at least with seats/controls at the stern), so it is more comfortable.

Nice bit of gear there;)
Where will you be fishing - mainly the Bay or will you head to the hills for some trout fishing:)
Whatever, the trailer has decent sized wheels so it should track the Land Rover pretty well.:)

Nice buy.
Im putting money aside for a boat,AND HOPING FOR THE LOTTO GODS TO SMILE UPON ME.
Want something in the 7m size so I can go off-shore.
However its a big investment.Wondering if I should buy something similar to this to get a bit of experience and to ensure I actually get to use a boat(closest ocean is 160km away) before investing big money in a big boat.

Get a Cat, for offshore a 18-19' cat is hard to beat.

The money you spent on a 7m boat would buy a lot of fishing charters :cool::cool:

Yes it would.
Fishing on a charter involves sorting mates to join in too,no fun fishing with a bunch of strangers.

So does a 7mtr boat :D
You'll be forever roping mates in to crew and fuel it....
A good friend has a 7mtr Cat.
Awesome vessel, but each tank is $300.00 to fill :)
