Dud injector

Had a severe miss on gas the other day,, car continued to run fine on PULP,, my local mechanic (also local sprint gas installer;)) put it on his machine and it said injector 6 was the problem,, a new second hand one was installed, that bank was cleaned and system tuned.

Now I'm not sure but the system would be lucky to be 5 years old and only done maybe 10K and already one injector down,,

what stuffs an injector?

Lucas disease? I have seen a couple of Impco/BRC injectors go open circuit. Just bad luck really.
