Advice on new steering damper

Hi all,

Knocked the steering damper on my '82 Series 3 Stage 1. It may or may not be stuffed. I was looking to replace it anyway.
In your opinion and experience which brand and/or type should I fit? (I'm running standard rims and tyre sizes.)

Don't bother with a return to center steering damper. Waste of money and they tend to hide possible problems with the rest of the steering system.
