17,000 posts on this iteration of AULRO :( and that doesn't include posts in the Moderators' area which aren't counted.

Thank goodness the site was blocked at work a couple of years ago. :D

'Tis a good thing I don't post very often any more.

I didn't think I posted much. Certainly nothing useful.

I guess the whole purpose of this thread is to get Ron's post count even higher :) - even though he doesn't post much :D

Well your pm put a stop to my habitual swearing on forum.

Aah! but AULRO and the forum would be a very dull place without the wisdom, wit, and moderation skills of Ron, let alone the spelling :D
he does a lot more than is known about ;)

You know if you are REALLY that bored, you could always come around and get that bit off the floor of Andy's P38A that you need:D

The kettle is always on the boil for a cuppa.... and you could check out the Puma.

Just a suggestion for you to kill a few hours...

I will, Erich, as soon as Elisabeth is settled (she came out of hospital today).

OK mate, sorry. I wasn't aware Elisabeth had been in hospital. Hope all is well with her.

There's no hurry to pick up the P38A stuff.

Cheers, Erich

Went in last Friday night with chest and leg pains. Found to have a large mass of clots in the left lung plus a lot in the right.

Sorry Ron, I didn't know. We've been away for the past few days and I only just read your other "I am bored" post:D

Hope Elisabeth improves, and like others have said don't worry about the fact that she needs to take blood thinning tablets. Many of our friends & family members are taking them..some for many years and they certainly haven't dampened their lifestyle.

Cheers Erich

Yes definitely hope that it's all sorted and that she is on the mend.

G'day P38arover :)

Hi Ron, I hope that Elisabeth is OK,and she is on the mend it is scary stuff clots,I have been on thinning pills since 2000 when I had my heart attack (asprin) but dad was on Wolfran for about 12 years up until he died last year at 92 so they are OK long term, worrying and stress cause more problems than enough, so tell her not to stress and just do what her specialist recommends.
