Guys,
As some of you know Ive got an Ashcrofts Rear locker coming my way and want to fit an ARB compressor to power it.

I'd rather have the bigger of the two available ARB ones, but not overly concerned if I have to use the small one because of spacial constraints - I already have the big Bushranger compressor for airing up tyres.

Question then is has anyone fitted either of the ARB compressors into the drivers side seat box of a TD5? If so, how!? Any pictures would be helpful.

Mine is pretty full with the TD5 ECU and other (standard) electric gizmo's so Im wondering what may need to be changed to shoe horn a compressor in there!

It cant go in the battery box, cos that really is already crammed - 2 x Odyssey PC1700 batteries, winch solenoid, split charge solenoid, aux fuse box and, earth bar and a few aux relays!

Thanks
Jon

If u get the small compressor... the braket kcan be spun around so u can mount it in heaps of ways... so id lie it flat under the ecu braket... mines in the bat box and fits well with plenty of space left... but i dont have twin batts...

my arb lockers use air from my bushranger max air compressor, seems silly to buy another compressor.

have you considered mounting the bushranger and plumbing it in, mine is under the driver seat in a 300tdi but the box has been extended

maybe under the rear seats?

Unfortunately the Bushranger is way to big to fit in the seat box. Rear seats are out to make way for water tanks, fridge etc etc. The 110 is a Double Cab so the tray section is also out of the question.

On the Puma my ARB pump is mounted on the winch bar mounting bracket, just behind the winch. Its air filter/inlet goes high up under the bonnet.
