Hello All Knowing Ones :)
I am looking at a 97 Defender 110 that is for sale but it doesn't have air conditioning and that is a must.
So the questions are:
1) How much to add air con?
2) Anyone know of a good shop in Sydney for that kind of work? (or a shop within say 4hr drive from Sydney)

Thanks in advance!

A lot of information on the forum about this... have a look here: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/good-oil/61123-air-conditioning-heating.html

I had mine fixed at Grady's Auto Electrical (http://www.gradysauto.com.au/)
They do a lot of LRs and RRs, and even the local LR mechanic send their vehicles there for the AC. A great shop. (even with $110/hr labour cost:o)

A Defender without AC means you can try an aftermarket AC and let us all know how it goes, this is poosibly the better thing to do by all reports.

Good luck!
