Anyone around Eltham or Mulgrave area have a good 630CCA batery I can borrow for a very short time.

I would like to test the County.

A mate recently charged my battery on a really good tri stage charger.

3 tests show battery as good

590 amps . 13 volts and lead calcium plates all test okay.

Isuzu just barely turns over.

Would like to test with a good know battery before forking out for a newie

Hi Pete, I have a good N70 I can bring around on the weekend if you want? PM me your phone number if you want and I'll give you a call. I can also check out the cabling/electrics, etc if you think there may be any issues there.

Cheers - Gav

Pete,
You're welcome to my 670 tomorrow/Friday evening if you like, and I'm only 15 mins away from Eltham...

Thanks Guys:)

Mark . Thanks. Are you on the way between Eltham and Mansfield? I go across to Yarra Glen and up the Melba

Gav , I will send a PM and we can keep in touch.

I have to go to Mansfield in the little car on Fri night and won't be home until after lunch on Saturday. Is that okay.

That is a great offer , thanks. I would like to rule out any wiring issues.

I will send a PM now. Post back on here tomorrow if you don't receive it.

I think my PM plays up sometimes

I would just like to say a public thanks to Gav and Marky.

Marky for the offer of his battery

and a huge Special Public Thanks to Gav who drove all the way from Sunbury to Eltham with a battery for testing ( and it wasn't that in the end BTW:)) and for services above and beyond the call as when we found out it wasn't the battery , Gav proceeded to remove , clean , rebuild and refit the starter motor:D

That still didn't fix it but not through lack of trying.

At least now I know it is the starter.

We had a quiet beer after and swapped all good Landy info:)

Thanks heaps again Gav

Look forward to seeing you at LROCV
