Land Rover service/mechanic - Newcastle?

My Dad is living in Newcastle with his newly acquired Disco 2, and needs some servicing etc done. He's living at Belmont nd apparently there's a dealer or something close to him. Any recommendations?

I come from - and my family still live in Belmont - the new dealer is at Bennetts Green about 4km up the highway from Belmont. (never used them though).

There is also Four x 4 in Kotara who some people don't like but others swear by. My own dealings have been good (since 1978) but never accept the given price on spares - a little haggling may mean you get them cheaper.

I believe there are other companies further up the Hunter Valley and Dungog but I have no personal experience.

Derrick (i think from memory) is the service manager there and they do all my services. Very knowledgable and they take care of some of the army defenders in there.
