Hi Guys,

My mate just bought a boat the same as mine a Trailcraft profish.Only he got the next size up and a bigger engine (Mungrel).

I decided he needed to get some blood on this thing to christen it so we headed out to my faverote spots in the Pilbara for a camping/fishing trip over two days.

Day one seen us head out to one of the creeks about 20 nm up the coast on neap tides so getting in and out would not be a problem.

We through the cast nets out to get some livies for one last crack at the barra with the cooler water coming in but had joy we did hook on to some nice blue nose salmon which where great fun.

Day two we headed out to some blue water in search of some line burning Spaniards and GTs.
We where in luck we ended up with 5 nice mackies a monster of a GT that destroyed every mussel in my body there was absolutly no fuel left in the tank after that fight i had to sit down and have a beer to regain my composure.

We also hooked into some diving bullets and Queenys on the way home just to top of a great day out. Hopfully where back out there soon we had a ball and my mates boat is smelling more like a fishing boat now.

Great trip:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
How do you find the Trailcrafts in the rough????
I am a fan of Trailcrafts,watched too many Malcom Douglas shows.
Seems MANY bag Trailcrafts as been one of the rougher riding alloys.What size and mojos are those pair???
Cheers
Andrew

Hi Andy

All alloy boats besides the Surtes and barcrushers are slappy in the rough but the best thing about the trailys that i have found is you dont get wet it has to be blowing its ring out to get wet in these open boats with the pressed sides the water spays away from the boat.

I have had mine for 4 years now and did a shed load of resurch but always come back to the Trailcraft profish probably because i do both creek and open water fishing and it ticks both the box's.

Mine is a 540 with a 90 4 st and my mates is a 570 with a 140 4 st.
