Did they ever have a 1958 speedo in Kmh? I thought Mph is OK for Roadworthy for a 1958?

Hi,
I heard that they did have KM for some export markets. I put some ads on in the Netherlands to try to find one. But they seem hard to find.
I am Dutch myself so I am not sure, but I guess that Australia in 1958 was still using Miles!?
Anyway, this I am not sure at all, but there may even be a combination MPH/KM... Otherwise an early series 2 may be backwards compatible? (Although I prefer to keep it original)
I need to fix the speedometer, so I hope I can find a KM... but although I am not sure, I think that you are right and MPH will be OK for a roadworthy and re-registration.
Thanks,
Kris

Yes we didn't have KMH til the 70's. Not sure if the later S2a in Aus had KMH - I don't think we changed until the S3.
