130 HCPU Long range tanks

I might need to pull my exiting tank out to investigate a fuel pickup issue, and got thinking about my upcoming big lap. I was wondering if there is a long range replacement for the standard HCPU tank, rather than adding an extra tank. Anyone know?

Hi Ranga,
Any replacement tank to suit an appropriate 110 should fit:IE if you have a TD5 then a TD5 110 replacement should work.

Ring around however, I got quoted a $400 difference from a major accessory supplier and the cheaper smaller supplier.

From what I have read most people are happy with LRA, can't say the same for Davis Brown. Furthermore the DB manager didn't even return the call when he was going to find out more...just my experience.

Ring around the wreckers as well Ranga

I picked up my 2nd hand 120 litre tank late last year from the Truimph/rover wreckers in SA for $200...it cost me $100 to truck to Brisbane. All that was needed as a quick coat of paint and I installed it myself.

It is a Long Ranger model. Very well constructed.
