P38A ECUs How many??

Need to know how many ECUs there are in the P38A 95 build.
My faultmate is showing 4, TRW MPS type 1,BECM, Lucas EAS and HEVAC.
Does anyone know if this is correct or is there something missing.

Why doesn't it show the window lift ECU and the seat control and the remote locking etc??

there are many more control units, how many depends on which model p38 you have. not all are connected to the diagnostic socket, and some functions like window control are split between more than one control unit.

The engine management system should show up. I'd need to check my Faultmate to get the full count that it can see.

Only need to know the ones that a scan with the Faultmate should pick up.
car is Petrol Oct 95 build.

Somebody just did a vehicle scan :-)

Mine's not a GEMS P38, but at last count I have the following

SM009: BOSCH MOTRONIC M5.2.1
SM013: TRW SPS (TYPE 2/P38 NRR)
SM018: WABCO D TYPE (P38 NRR)
SM022: BECM (P38 NRR)
SM026: LUCAS EAS (P38 NRR)
SM027: VALEO HEVAC (P38 NRR)
SM029: BOSCH AUTO BOX GS8.87.1
SM039: HELLA CRUISE CONTROL

You will need to have your cruise control switched on via the dash button when doing a vehicle scan to pick up it's ecu.
