Hi all,

Any suggestions?

Try doing a reset of the iPhone. Hold down the home key and lock button for 10-15 seconds.

Have you update your iPhone to 4.3.1? Is there a firmware upgrade for the head unit in the D4? I know some pioneer headunits you can firmware upgrade to accept new bluetooth devices.

My iphone 4 in my MY10 D4 has been working fine (music and phonebook etc) running on version 4.3 (8F190). The problem I have is that the center console box cable does not charge the phone. Anyone else's D4 charge the phone?

Hi Brad,
mine charges the phone fine.
(by glove box i assume you mean the centre box between the driver and front passenger seats)

Well i went to the dealer this afternoon and tried another cable just in case mine was faulty and the phone still says" unable to charge this device". I'll have to talk to the service manager tomorrow and see what he says

the iphone has now decided to work with full functionality! i haven't done anything to the phone or car. Not sure if it is an iphone issue or car issue.

Hi Brad,
as i said previously, mine charges fine, however if i am playing music from the iphone through the car, it seems to charge much more slowly.
Cheers,
Peter

On the subject of the iPhone4 and the D4 HSE, any idea why only part of the phone book appears on the Disco's phonebook?
