Tie Rod Ends, series 2 to 1 backwards compatible?

Hi,

I read on a thread that series 2 Tie Rod Ends are compatible with Series 1...

Can anyone comfirm this? And where could I get them? What specifications should I look for? My mechanic says I "need to replace all Tie Rod Ends".

Just make sure when you buy the tie rods you get the ones with the thread only part way along and NOT the ones with the full thread as the wrong ones will ware out the threaded section on the steering tube and tie rods & may come apart, as this happened in the UK & killed 2 people.

I think I have the speedo that your after has MPH & KLM on the speedo face but it is out of a long wheel base so it ment to have 750X16 tyres to give the right reading.

they have quite a large listing for series 1 parts 7 Iam sure they have the bushes you need.
