Just noticed a small leak on the right rear brake rotor. Have taken the whole deal to pieces and it is obvious I need to replace the hub. Big problem is the brake rotor is well and truly stuck on the drive plate (the retaining screw has been removed before anyone asks!) - have tried the piece of wood and large hammer, penetrating oil, etc. No luck at all so far.
Has anyone struck this before and any suggestions to get this sorted?

Had one stuck without your other issue and got it off using a RUBBER MALLET - repeatedly and with vigor;).

Try Loctite freeze and Release. might penetrate better anyway.
I'd be replacing the rotor as well once you do get it off.
Hope you get it.
Cheers

Yep, I've had this experience! It's a persistence beats resistance situation here.
You'll need to get very physical with it. Use lots of penetrating fluid like wd40 from behind, around the bolts and the retaining screw hole.
I wrapped the rotors in a rag and bashed one side on the rear face, then the opposite side of the rear face, to create a rocking type release. I wasn't gentle and didn't care about damage though as I had four new rotors.
I'd also recommend getting new retaining screws and rotors.
