Audio Controls & Steering Wheel

I've seen there are some really good instructions for removing the steering wheel and adding audio controls on this forum; I'd like to add audio controls to my D3 S steering wheel but am not sure it will have the correct wiring: what wire colours/connector should I be looking for?

Can anyone confirm the part number for the switch is "XPD 500730"

I could also do with renewing the worn steering wheel, does anyone have the part number/link to supplier for the basic steering wheel (i.e. without switches and air bag)

The control doesn't select stored radio stations , only scans .
Also , any lockup will still occur with this control too.
My part was 500790 .............. ask Nick at Yeovil LR
for all these numbers ; run your VIN to him .
