Hi gang,
just looking for conformation that the front diff on a Puma is a P38, not a Rover.
thanks

It's the Rover type, 2 pin unfortunately :( The rear diff is the P38 type.
Cheers,

many thanks, the way some of the information reads from locker suppliers is a bit confusing.

hmm have to back up here again for a bit.
the manual I have suggests the ratio of a puma front diff is 3.54
The site I'm looking at suggest the P38 front ratio is 3.54; and the Rover is 3.90
suggestions, or conformation please.

The Puma 110/130 front diffs are TBB000250 (2 pin diff, 3.54:1 Ratio), this is interchangable with the "Heavy Duty" diff TBB000280 (4 pin diff, 3.54:1 Ratio).
Puma 110/130 rears diffs are TBB000270 (4 pin diff, 3.54:1 Ratio). This has the shorter housing like the P38 diffs.

yes the wife has stamped the purchase if required. Would prefer some Ashcrofts, but will most likely go down a detroit rear and true track front. Arb with axel and flange upgrades are to much of a stretch as is the Maxi. All good products I'm sure.
Still pondering however if I could use the front, but a rear locker transforms a vehicle, and makes it all a bit more stable with the family on board.
Thanks Tim for the info
