Hi,
I thinking of taking a trip to look at this car at the weekend...
LPG injected V8
LAND ROVER DISCOVERY V8 4X4 - Granville - NSW - $ 12,990.00 (http://www.tradingpost.com.au/Automotive/Used-Cars/Small-Medium-Family-Prestige-Cars/AdNumber=D532900916469?BackToResult=true&AdOnTop=)
Does anyone on here know this vehicle?
I have seen a couple of TD5's too. A 2003 with 380k's.
TD5 will have a bigger range per litre but gas is cheaper. Most if not alll driving done near gas supply.
Would appreciate people's thoughts.
Cheers,
Chilly

Looks alright and it has all the fruit.
See if you can get them down on price, but is seems like it's reasonably priced.
Get underneath and check for oil leaks. Check the coolant tank is full, take it for a spirited drive and note for any coolant loss.
V8's with those amount of k's tend to need head work.

It does look very good, make sure all electrics work and has history you can check.
Plus, a inspection via a competent rover mechanic is a must.
At that many k's, not that its huge but they do often need a top end freshen up.
Good luck.

The caryard is just off the cycleway on my way home so I can have a quick sticky beak tonight if you like.
The front bar looks a little odd as it makes the car look like an ES but there's no leather trim so it's not an ES.
I can't remember if that model came with fog lights but the colour coded front bar certainly doesn't fit with what I remember.

I had a quick look yesterday arvo.
It's not the best example of a D2 but the body is fairly tidy & the engine bay is spotless when the bonnet is opened.
Obvious bad points:
SLS dropped
Saggy headlining
Bonnet misaligned, chips on the mudguard screws & broken headlight covers
