Gday...

Apparently Bundaberg Land Rover are not a recommended dealer for service of D3 ..... so, does anyone have feedback on Pacific Land Rover Maroochydore?

(Makes it fairly difficult (stoopid?) to have bought a vehicle that no-one ever recommends the dealer for servicing.)

Cheers

The saying that Land Rover has been making mechanics out of drivers since 1948 is not in jest.

Given time, you will be good at it.

Today I was down at my dealer, (and I would recommend him), but I did have to convince him that we both would be better off if he replaced the complete lower A Frame assembly on each side rather than just replacing the lower ball joints.

To me, it was more a question of his guys, on each side, just undoing/cutting three bolts as opposed to to much hammering and banging and then undoing/cutting three bolts.

I am gambling that while parts may cost more, labour will be less; the dealer wins regardless and I get all new lower A frame bushings etc along with new lower ball joints.

I am fortunate that I do have a good local dealer, as to the north, the next closest dealer is in either Iceland or Greenland.

Give a ring to British of Road in Bunderim 54451094, they are excellent people to deal with.

Hi, British Offroad at Forest Glen/Buderim are very good. Equally though, I have never had a problem with Pacific Land Rover at Maroochydore, especially for rectification of any warranty claims. Have been using both for many years now.
