i have been adjusting the adjuster nut on the drum and also the cable but wondering how far does the cable adjust? does the cable just drop out when you go too far? and is there something within the drum which needs changing next (brake pad?).

I dont touch the cabel its all done by the bolt down on the drum. Very easy. Get yourself a copy of the Rave CD it gives instructions and shows exploded views etc.:)

like i said have already adjusted using the bolt on the drum, then when still not engaging fully have adjusted the cable.
just wanting to know how much adjustment there is on the cable and does it then just come apart.
