I have just bought a K1.8 freelander cheap, very cheap, it has a blown head gasket. No oil in water, It has blown the elastic seal out the side and not holding water.
Just wondering, has anyone used the MSL head gasket with the upgraded oil rail?
Still debating either to repair it or use it for parts for my L series.

No doubt, you can fix it, Woko.:) But, what are you going to do with it if you do???? I think one Freelander 1, in a family is enough suffering for anybody!!

I will sell it. If its got dropped liners or a u/s head, it will become spares. You dont suffer with a diesel one, you cant kill them with a stick.
