Easter on Moreton island

I am off to Moreton island first thing tomorrow, first trip for the new sports off road. The old one was great in the sand so would expect the same from the new one. If any one else is over on Moreton look out for me.

Have a good time. Just got back from 4 days there last week. Saw a few other surfers (waves weren't great) but no Disco's. You shouldn't have any problems in the sand - we accompanied my sister and brother in law in their Nissan X-trail who didn't really have any issues - but I'm sure we were a bit more comfortable :)

Haven't been to Morton for years....and never in peak periods,,or my own vehicle....LOL!!!

Last time I was in uniform driving 110s and Unimogs....a 4WD course of course.... :)

Back from Moreton

Weather was great with long sunny days and small surf for the kids at the northern end ofthe island. Car went great as expected, the sand was quite hard packed after the rain last week so not major challanges. Dropped the tyres to about 22 and had no problems.
