Hi guys/girls, just had my Disco1 v8 converted to lpg and seem to be quite down on power compared to running on petrol. So just want to know if there is any recomended gas installers south of the river in Perth? Zacc

Take it back to the installer to have a look. Did they advance the timing to run on gas, it needs advancing , usually to 10deg TDC.
Did they gap the plugs correctly, or are your plugs leads old. LPG needs a healthier spark as it is a different octane than petrol.
There is some power loss on the ordinary gas systems, but the ignitionb system with show up more probs' than it does with petrol

Hi, look on the threads to start with, something may come to light. If all else fails PM BEE-UTY and I'm sure he would help you sort this out. Photo's are always helpful as parts in the systems make-up can be identified easier.

Lastly don't be afraid to tinker, most installations are very rough and it can take some time to tidy up the original installation where you may find the odd shortcut or prob that was left by the fitter. Mine was fairly rough (pipes to long eletrics shody etc)
