Just some idle gossip.
Went out to do a delivery to John Farnham's place today for the first time, and was surprised to see A Range Rover Vogue and Sports both in silver.
Looks like the man likes Land Rovers, if only I had met him I would have invited him to get onto AULRO....and also to invite myself and family to a bbq this weekend:angel:
Not into his music but it's about as close I think I would ever get to him.
I wonder if he got a celebrity discount on those 2?:D

My wife has met him and says he is a genuinely nice bloke. She ushered at a few of his shows in Toowoomba a few years back (the last time, or was it the last time before that? sorry bad Farnham joke), it was not far off mothers day and he was sitting there before and after the show with all the crew and helpers ringing their mums for mothers day and leaving messages on their voicemails. He wrote a note to my mother in law (who is a big fan) saying thanks for last night, you were wonderful etc etc and signed it. Certainly has a sense of humour - maybe why he has Land Rovers?

;) Yep around those parts.
Been known for walking around outside in his Pj's and slippers on the phone, so I've been told.

If only I had some AULRO stickers could have stuck a few on his Range Rovers:angel:
Don't deal with him direct, everything goes past his manager first then down the line.

Don't forget the blokes a plumber!

My wifes sat and chatted with him over coffee on a few occasions during cutting events and apart from being a fan of his music says he is a top bloke.

He has also had a few health issues the past few years and yet still gets out and has a crack at what he enjoys.

My folks have met him through cutting horses also. They say he is a ripper bloke and he loves getting out and meeting people.

It was once said that he had 1 of the best recordable voices in the world .... I like some of his music but i love listening to him sing ..... Good on him i say ...

My old man took delivery of one the first P38 Range Rovers in Australia, back in 95/96, as did John Farnham, he discovered when they were both sitting together in the service department waiting room at ULR, presumably waiting to get something or other fixed !!!

My old man still has that P38, sounds like Farnsey has moved on to something newer !!!

Yep Land864, Werribee a few years ago.

And before everyone goes belting off to the Futurities he has sidelined his hobby for now to concentrate on his singing again.
