Hi Howard,
The Coopers are approved for fitment on 7.5" to 9.5" rims. If you are using standard LR D3 17" X 7" rims, then no go. If you have aftermarket wider rims, then you may be OK for fitment - but they are Coopers:wasntme:. (Alright - I know these are new tyres and I probably should give them the benefit of the doubt, but I've had some not so good experiences with Cooper ST's & STT's in the past.)
Why not buy the BFG's direct from the USA and put the change in your pocket?

Coopers are crap tyres, Owl we have had bad experiences with Coopers, go with BFG or Generals or anything else.

Just my opinion, Baz:cool:

Hi Howard
Have a look at the Bridgestone 694 AT 255/65/17s in the LT construction, they are legal on the standard rim and have a wide tread footprint on the ground. In fact the tread width measured against a friends 265/17 scorpions is slightly wider because of the straight walls and squarer tread profile so you may not even gain anything going to the 265 size.
Agree with others RE Coopers I have had no luck with them.
Had the 694s on my D1 Great performance and milage. Currently have 255/65 17s 694LTs on the D3 with 30,000Ks on them (5 tire rotation) and going great.
Cheers Howard

I love my Cooper LTZ Zions, the last 3 vehicles I owned I've had the BFG Muddies. The D3 for does'nt suit the Muddies for me - too refined a car to run them!
I've had no issues with my Coopers.
Different tread patterns may be different though.
