Hi Guys,
My radio and cd stacker has just stopped working. I had the radio on and get gave a slight thump through the speakers and cut out for about 15 seconds and came good again. This was repeated for approx 2 minutes. Then it started to work normal and then the sound went really soft and went normal again this happened over a 2 minute period and the radio went dead with no response at all which includes the cd stacker as well. No sound at all coming through the speakers.

Could anyone suggest what could be wrong?
Regards Paul

Sounds a bit like like the amp going through its final death throws... Had a similar thing happen to a stereo in the dunny door a few years back. Hope its not, but if it is, could be serious...

Is the front screen still working, and does the the functionality of the unit seem ok, just no sound? If it is, I would bet its the amp...

Hi Guys,
I just replaced the dsp amp but still not working. Dsp doesn't display on the front screen at all and the code on the front screen is not highlighted. I disconnected/reconnected the battery which didn't make any difference.
Does anybody have any suggestions what to do next?

Regards Paul

Before going overboard check all connections. My CD stacker didn't work in my P38. Pulled connections apart and sprayed with contact cleaner and it started working again. Try the simple things first

Guess What?
I started the car up after doing some business down the street and the dsp pops up on the front screen and stereo is working perfectly.
I have driven the car around since 20th July when I installed the new amp which it had not been working.
In the last week I have been driving the car everyday, Just wondering if dsp is related to the voltage?
But I did measure the voltage at the amp with the car running 3 weeks ago and read 13.7volts.
