If your so inclined to want to watch some excellent Australian motorcycle racing action this weekend you have a choice starting tonight (Friday) from 8:30 pm to 9:15 pm you can tune on to the Fox / Austar SPEED TV channel to catch some very close racing from round two of the 2011 AFX_SBK Championship on SPEED TV's Friday night InSide Speed show.
Not only will there be racing coverage from the second round of the 2011 YMF Loan Yamaha Australian FX-Superbike Championship from Wakefield Park Raceway but up and coming BMW mounted star Brayden Carr will be interviewed in the half hour studio show that is also a part of the Friday night coverage.
Tonight's racing action will showcase the third race from the second round of the FX-Superbike racing action as well as highlights of the first Yamaha sponsored FX600 racing also from Wakefield Park.
Shifting to Sunday afternoon and the ever popular Speedweek show will once more go to air in the prime time slot of 1:30pm to 2:00pm. For those who may have never seen the Speedweek show just tune in to the free to air national carrier SBS at 1:30pm to watch some great motorcycle racing action. Sundays coverage will feature races two and three of the FX600 class and the very popular KTM sponsored Pro-Thunder class.
That's not the end of the second round of the championships excellent TV coverage either, the following weekend the fourth 30 minute show goes to air on SBS Speedweek from 1:30pm with racing coverage of the Formula Oz and FX125GP class. Stay tuned for more information next week.
For those who may not be able to catch either show just log onto Speedweek|for speed enthusiasts motorsport (http://www.speedweek.com.au) and you will be able to watch all of this years up until last weekends show as a download.
So whatever your doing either tune in or make sure you record this weekends shows on both SPEED TV tonight or SBS Speedweek on Sunday.
I'd also like to again thank again both Ron and VNX205 for giving as a hand over the weekend as officials.
cheers,
Terry
