Hi all,
Just changed my ht leads and she fired up perfectly. I decided to pop out to th shops and I stalled! Checked leads on dizzy and tried again, fired straight away noissues.
On way home, car quit again so I got out, fiddled with ht leads to no avail, assumed poor contacton spark but manifold V hot so difficult to fiddle. Along comes
Title boy who asks what is wrong, I tell him I think one of my leads is loose because I've just changed em. He looks under bonnet ( on tip toes) and asks if the red connector by the round thing should be off?
Well, what a tit I felt, reconnected lead to coil and fired up straight away!
Only weird thing was loud tapping noise for about 30 seconds which then went and hasn't returned. Guessing oil needed circulating as stalled on an incline.
