Hi all.I am in the final stages of connecting everything back up after the new 3.9 engine transplant in my 94 Disco and have noticed in the rave manual that there is meant to be a vacuum hose for the cruise control. The hose is on the actuator which is part of the throttle lever assembly.I do not know where the hose goes to from the actuator. Please help as the rave manual does not show this information.I have uploaded 2 pics of the hose connection and it is the little black pipe sticking out through the metal frame.
Cheers

I can't see the photo from my phone but the vac hose that connects to the cruise control bellow on the plenum has it's other end going to a T piece behind the washer bottle.

Thanks Utemad. The bellow you are referring to,is that the actauator which has a rubber diaphram and is to the front side of the accelerator cable adjuster.

There should be a cruise control vacuum pump under the LH battery tray near the power steering reservoir, and the vacuum hose eventually goes to this. Just trace it from the vacuum pump towards the diaphragm and you should see where it connects.

Yes that is the part I'm talking about.
PhilipA is on the money except in my car at least including the 2nd battery, snorkel, LPG system and extra wiring you can't get at or even see that hose for near it's full length.
Four bolts removes the washer bottle but you should be able to stick your hand behind it and grab it but it is a squeeze.

The hose is tee pieced just after the actuator pictured, 1 end goes down to the cruise vac pump that PhillipA described, the other goes along the firewall and into the vehicle near the booster and connects to the cancel switch on the brake pedal (And clutch if fitted) that dumps vac and switches off the cruise electrically when brake pedal (Or clutch if manual) is applied.

Thanks everyone for the very precise information.I found the hose from the T piece tucked in behind the water reservoir.Had to twist the gas mixer a little to allow room for the hose to go on.Thanks again.
