If one was to buy these rims 16x6.5 Wolf Rim - tubeless black primer coated (http://www.paddockspares.com/pp/WHEELS_AND_TYRES/Steel_Wheels/16x6.5_Wolf_Rim_-_tubeless_black_primer_coated.html), and wanted to keep them black, I imagine they would still need painting - correct?

Why would you buy them? Nothing wrong with the rims you have mate !
Dunno if you can put 255's on 6.5" rims either.

As in 255/85R16, yes you can.

I've got a set of 6 of the exact ones, and so has a friend of mine and yes I would paint them. I'm painting mine the same white as the 110, but the other vehicle is staying black.
I'm also fitting 255/85/16 BFG MT's to mine.

Mine have been on about 3 years without paint. I will paint them eventually. But not rusting yet.

Are these the same wheel that come standard on the PUMA 130 twin cabs but lacking the white paint ?

They are heavier, and tubeless.
Edit: Actually you can get both tubeless and "tubed" Wolf rims....

I managed to purchase four nearly new rims from British Off Road and then one brand new tubeless rim from M R Automotive.
I spent a day prepping them and painted them in two pack to match roof colour.I was going to put them on my County but I think they would look good on the Dormobile :)
Total cost was approx $700.00 finished. I guess they would be cheaper from the UK even with shipping.
