Maxi-Drive rear locker Q's...

Hey all,

I have recently purchased my second Disco, a '96 300TDi. It has a rear Maxi-Drive locker fitted. The locker itself appears to be working fine, but the light on the dash to inticate it is activated isn't wired up. There is 2 wires coming from the diff housing where the air lines are, they go to the engine bay and end there. Can somone please adivse how to wire up the light (or possible supply instructions), so i know when it is definately activated. Have already done a search with no luck.

The switch works by sending -ve to the light when fully engaged. So the 2 wires - one needs to be earthed, the other needs to go to -ve on the light, then you need to supply the light with a suitable, fused, +ve from elsewhere.

I also had a Maxi rear and the australian contact is MR automotive in Queensland

MR Automotive were very good to me. They sent me the complete fitting instructions. A web search will bring up their contact.-Brendan
