intercooler flush????

I have previously cleaned / flushed out the intercooler on a TD5 and had a noticed performance improvements.:D

The acetone rinse came out a weak tea colour, so removed the oil film from within.:D

The question I have is..... Is this also appropriate / a suggested process with the D3 I/C?

Mine has done 220,000Ks+
