Sitting in the Dentist's waiting room today I stumbled across an old magazine featuring an article from 1974. At the end of the article was the following link, a very interesting site and worthy of a read :)

The couple now travel around Australia in an Oka.

Reminds me, my Dad rode parts of afghanistan on a pushbike in the 1960's ( part of a three year cycle from England to Australia)..next time I go to Mums I will bring some phots back and post them here.

He rode up the Kyber pass and was so angry to see a coke sign at the top. that he threw a rock at it :D
