Many thanks for the kind thoughts.
Lunch turned out to be a few more than just the girls and we ended up getting home around 2200, just a tad late for tea. I feel a bit deprived at the moment, as I believe there is a saying that states; " every one you turn down is one you'll never get", or something similar, and at my age I guess they must be talking about meals!
Haven't been allocated a space in a retirement village yet but the kids tell me they are looking.
