Hi All,Just thought I would pass this problem to you learned folk before I head off to the mechanic's.After sitting overnight or half a work day (4 or so hrs) my 96 V8 will take two attempts to start on gas;)Now I can leave the car for an hour or so and no prob, just seems to be extended periods. On petrol not an issue, and once going runs perfectly. It seems to be not holding gas in the plenum (not sure if it is supposed to or not?),I have done a leak test with soap and water on all the conections I can see and can not find any leaks running or not??? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.Thanks...

There will be minor adjustments availabe for the amount of petrol injected during starting, as cold weather often makes engines harder to start. I can't tell you where the adjustment is, all systems are different. Just start it on petrol and flick it back to gas as soon as it is running.

Thanks Beeutey, to the rescue again, under the dash drivers side i have a little control module that has an adjustment screw in the middle of the face and it has petrol on one side and gas on the other. Could this be the unit you where refering to?? Thanks...........

Sounds like it, try adjusting it so the petrol light stays on until it fires, usually just under 1 second will do it.
