Good morning everyone.
May as well stayed up.
Cold frosty night and the Doona migrated to SWMBO side of the bed!
I froze

Solution to that situation :
1. Hold hand vertically above you for 5 mins until it gets freezing cold. Holding it above you reduces the blood flow and speeds the cooling.
2. Protect face with side of pillow or other hand, and pretend to be asleep
3. Place cold hand on suitably warm part of SWMBO
4. In the ensuing confusion use the cold hand to retrieve the doona while maintaining protection from the other hand.
5. Never EVER let on that you were awake before it happened

SteveG's advise is for those feeling lucky,or just sick of living :p
I was nice and warm last night,:D up until I was rudely awakened by a thumping storm at about 1.00/1.30am, it thumped and crashed, hailed and blew for about an hour the cat and dogs were spooked, and we recieved 38mm in that time :)

My missus is a duvet hog. I sorted that by getting another duvet.

Hi Mrs hh
Well I was kinda thinking that a new Doona might be the go, one with holes in it . :D
You know the type of holes, they have the brass eyelets, that way I could hook up some bungie cords around the bed frame then back onto the Doona, that would stop any indecent exposure to the cold. :p
As for letting my cold hand doing the job of retriving the doona, that would be really risky, as know my luck the bitch would probably bite me.
Cause Lillee, our miniature Chihuahua does sneek into bed with the SWMBO.
Cheers Arthur
