Has anyone here put a 2 barrel carby on a 2.25 engine? What did it go like

I have heard that some kind of two barrel carb was used on the last of the series 3 2.25's but only in the UK? I think it was a weber.

There is much more to gain by fitting some Lukey brand extractors to a 2.25, there is slight increase in power, but more importantly, it gets away from the manifold cracking problem.

Holden carbies fitted to the 2.25 ( or holden motors ) always gave trouble, as they flood or starve when driving offroad, depending on which way they where tilted in respect to the float hinge.

Webber carbies are still available from the UK for Land Rovers; have a look at LR Spares I think they have them,
