Hi All,

I have a 2002 Discovery TD5 ES (with rear Air Suspension and ACE). I have the stock suspension and have replaced the standard front bar with the ARB Wynch Bull Bar.

I have replaced the stock tryes with Wrangler Silent Armour All Terrains a while ago (265/60/R18's).

I now want to goto some 275/70/R18's (Mickey Thompson MTZ's) Mud Terrain's.

I would appreciate any advice on if these will fit ok.

If not:

1. What modifications are suggested (with some pointers to threads or suppliers) ??

2. Any other Mud Terrain options for the 18" rims ??

Any and All help/pointers/advice is appreciated.

Cheers

Not without a few changes :D

3-4" lift required
Extended bumpstops
Trim some items like sill trim on front wheel arch
*must* have an aftermarket bar fitted or be willing to trim leading edge of front bumper
longer shocks
longer brake lines
longer ABS cables
lengthened ACE links (if ACE fitted)

And gearing will suck so you'll want/need 4.11's fitted to the diffs.

I looked at 18 inch options and eventualy got a set of 16 inch alloys. These are now cheap at around $450 a set. .

Hi Gent's,

Thanks for the information. It looks like some mods might be necessary by the sounds of things.

Can anyone recommend a good professional Landrover Mod company in Canberra or Sydney??

Cheers
