Hi Ean;

I plan a step by step photo tutorial when my pan arrives. It is on order. The old plastic pan can be unbolted, and then cut, so you do not have to lift the engine slightly, etc. to remove it. The new metal pan and filter can then be fitted (without lifting).

I'll leave it to everyone else to address how they envision a flush, as you either need a machine, or it can be done in a manual method, but I don't think you particularly get as good of a flush as a machine made for it, due to the torque converter capacity.

Many thanks,

I will be looking at doing mine, but will most likely be either late july or will have to be early Dec, as I need to work around my work, the car has 62000k's now so am not to stressed.
I have yet to order the pan, etc, but was more interested on how others got the old pan off as I did read you had to lift the engine slightly, so cut and remove the internal pipe later seems easier.

It was my impression that the flush was done by filling then running the car then dropping and refilling again...guessing I may have that part wrong.

Look forward to seeing your post, will most likely do something similar, that can be added/made easier etc by others.

Thanks again for the reply,

Cheers Ean
