Ok here is a test.
Can anyone positively ID the Pan Hard retaining bolts for a 95 P38.
A part # would be good.
I have 2 that are just a bit under size, which i think are causing a slight knocking sound i get when the suspension starts to work hard.

Presumably you mean Panhard Rod rather than Pan hard - the pan being the sump and you don't want hard bolts for that! :p
If so, I will edit the thread title. :D
Panhard bolts M16x70 flanged, ANR4386.
The bushes are ANR3671
Flanged nut, ANR3140

I am pretty sure the 38A bushes are similar to RRC ones. If so you should not get a knock regardless of wear on the bolt, as they should be done up tightly enough to clamp the inner steel tube of the Panhard Rod bush to the flanges . The tube should be immobile and any suspension movement absorbed by rubber bush movement in shear. If you do not have them tightened to Bejeeses tight , do it now or you will need to replace the bushes as the tube will wear shorter.

I did have a cracked rubber in a rear bush. I have pressed that out and replaced it. But i just noticed that the bolt is worn along the shank.
I guess with continuous movement of metal on metal over the years they wear. Looks like they are about 6 pounds from the UK, a piece.
I have a definite bush that is failing in the front Panhard rod will get around to pressing that one out soon.
