I went up to see Davis Landy last week to discuss improving the svx a bit, on offer is an upgraded intercooler, chip plus 3 inch full exhaust.
Has anybody had these fitted and if so what's the verdict?
I am following Drovers thread with interest but self fitting for me at this time is not an option.
Any feedback or alternative options would be greatly appreciated.....thanks

I'm not sure if Davis does his own maps for the tdci, or uses maps from a UK supiler.
But from I have heard about the Davis remaps on td5s they are not the most driveable tunes. but make good power up top.

They seems to be history of such, lots of power but with sacrifices.

I'd seriously think of driving it down to SA (Tombie) and make take a few days hols and have all the work done.

I don't know as I can offer much advice.. but - the 110 we recently purchased has the Davis chip and intercooler (I think it also has the exhaust, but will have to check). Unfortunately, I've never driven one that didn't have them, so don't have anything to compare it to.
That being said, I've read posts on here saying they're good for top-end power, but lacking a little at the bottom end.
Any vehicle I've driven that had a turbo has behaved this way, though.
For road driving, our 110 has heaps of power - it will keep 100 kph up hills that were an effort for my VT Commodore.
We haven't done much off-road stuff in it, but we did have a play in a fair bit of mud yesterday. Didn't have any problems with low-down power - being able to put it into low range did away with any of the issues.

Hey Team FA,
What type of 110 have you got, PUMA ? or TD5 ?

It's a 2002 TD5...
Spotted your sig - KTM Super Duke 990, very nice. My daily ride is a sad old Buell XB12R, agricultural in comparison...
