yep, Ive got 3 slightly different styles, one siezed, one with questionable brushes and one on frankerator. The numbers on the stickers are too badly gone to be salvaged but if you want the shells for comparison you're welcome to them. I'll check the one In foz when the big ball of fire turns up tomorrow.

Dunno about the Bosch

I slapped in an LXA120 from Ingram - it's a Lucas 'replacement' meaning that all it's mounts are in the right place.

It is a bit fatter than what came out, though, so I used the adjusting bracket off a red holden to give it some clearance from the block and put a slightly larger fan belt in there.

Bosch have a direct replacement for the Lucas alternator. I don't know the number of it, but a good parts supplier with a Bosch catalogue should be able to find it for you.

freed up one of the bosh ones, it needs a new fan and bearings and I'll take some pics of the adaptor Im about to send down south that it was mounted to..

surprisingly simple 2 bits of angle iron and a couple of plates with holes in them...

as I start digging through the rest of the stuff thats going to scrap if I find a set of mounts I'll clean them up and mod them as required to suit one of my alternators.
