Whilst servicing the TDV6 came across a few weird things ,There appeared to what look like dried up Rice bubbles around my oil filler cap , lots of them , didnt taste them so ill say say they were something between Ratsh#t,and Mousesh#t !!!
Okay the local rodents have a warm spot , then I pulled the Pollen filter and it looks like the same party was going on in there .Question is how do you prevent them from getting inside the air ventilation (allready set the zapper up !)They have nearly eaten through the filter , some Partee!!!!

I've been reluctant to check my air & pollen filters for fear of what I might find. I set several traps around the engine bay every night and they're almost always full next morning. A Chinese made repeller sitting on top of the engine had no effect.

Be careful they dont start eating the wiring...Little buggers done it twice to my aircon at home..

Time to buy a very hungry cat me thinks..

Stick some chicken wire in the cabin air intake. It is just below the apron.
That will at least stop them getting into the cabin.

Looks like rice bubbles, must be mouseli!

Stainless steel pot scrubbers from the supermarket are about the right size to go in an a/c duct. Had to do a Triton for a country doctor last month. The mouse died after finding this neat hampster-wheel style cage to go to sleep in. When the doctor turned the heater fan on the little fella got its life centrifuged right out of its nose. Luckily (like your pollen filter) it was easy to access and remove.
