I picked up a copy cheap . Probably a reprint. First impressions are : nicely presented with those small details we all like to read about but I wish he had contributed more on the 80" models , rather than covering the whole ten years which made it somewhat condensed in parts.
Are there any othjer books on a similar vein ?

Are you familiar with John Smith's "Land-Rover the Formative Years 1947-1967?
Not quite the same, it is a history, but does have a lot of detail in its 300 odd pages.

The reprints are much cheaper than the original edition ..I've seen the book for very high prices . But I managed to pick up a copy cheap from a online book seller on EPAY . Just do a search .

The book was written in the mid 90's and since then, I think more info has come to light . He says some odd things that I'm not sure are 100% correct- Like the 80" truck cab came with a one piece window ?
But overall it's a great read.
