On my 2A I have recently refilled the radiator after about 18 months without coolant in the engine/radiator. I noticed a constant drip leak coming from a hole located on the 6 o'clock position of where the fan comes through the water pump. I hope that makes sense.
Does it indicate a failed seal/gasket, ruined pump or missing grub screw? Maybe something else...?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Failed seal.
The drain hole is on the dry side of the seal.

Ok thanks for that.
Is the seal an item that is readily available?
If so, would you have a part number or suggestion as to where to source it?
Thanks for your help.

The seal usually comes in a kit which has a new impeller and bearing in it, as the impeller often breaks when pressing it off. I have found over the years that it is usually easier and about the same price to buy a new pump.
Alternatively the bearing and seal can be sourced individually from bearing shops and good agricultural parts dealers, for a fraction of the price, provided that the impeller came off in one piece,
